Pearman, If your cart has a run/tow switch and a shift lever then you have a DCS cart ...... there is no in a SERIES cart. I do not know how to disable the regen in a DCS cart short of replacing the controller or motor.

That serial no. comes back as a 2000 TXT PDS. As such it should have a run/tow switch and forward/reverse selection should be done by a switch on the dash. If it isn't configured like this then something is amiss. Pictures of the dash and inside the battery bay would help everyone out.
