Exclamation wifieys got a go no go ez-go

hello new here ,, i have a 1993 ez-go series cart curtis speed controler 1209b !! judging by pics on website it stopped going foward but reverse works great pot works like it should in reverse ive tested batterys 1 have 37.9 pac voltage with my harbor freight 3 dollar meter ,, check and recheck cables and all conections fnr switch took apart cleaned no burt or sings of arking all clean and shinny took a trip to a local rebuild shop explained to motor rebuilder what was going on with a wireing diagram i got from this site he told me he is not familiar with controls but said if i was to switch the s1 and s2
-OR- a1 and a2 cables it would reverse direction and i could atleast go foward well i did it and he is right i now go foward with fnr in reverse position IN reverse now it same as foward before i switched a1 ans a2 if i press and depress pedal it will some times go slow some times a little fast and an occasional burst of full speed

My guess is you need a new F&R

Set your new meter on continuity and make these tests below.

Any body got ant other input on this i did what scotty said im getting zero resistance at fnr switch in both position if i play up and down with gas pedal it will go backwards slowly foward hauls butt with a1 and a2 switched im thinking controler ..... Next question on another cart same type cart i cant get armiture out of axel im trying to replace motor any ideal ????brush holder cup and can part of motor came right out !!!!!
