Default Question about txt keyswitch faceplate mounting

On my build, the part of the dash at the bottom of the keyswitch plate where it rivets to is broken off. I have a new faceplate, but nothing to attach the faceplate to in the 2 holes at the bottom. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

you could try making some little tabs that are attached to bolts through the plate. When you spin them they would wedge behind the dash. Kind of like a quarter turn lock..

Yes, but there is nothing left on mine to screw in to. The lower plastic support that you screw into is not there.

I was thinking of installing a "spreader" piece of something behind it, so I would have something to screw into.

You could alway get a carbon fiber dash overlay, and you would have new holes. It would also look really cool!

Good thinking! I bought a carbon fiber overlay, but the switchplate has to be mounted already to the cart. The overlay just has a window hole to see the switch plate, but no where to screw it on.
