Battery Skid Plate???
I dunno if I've ever seen this posted, but I'm sure someone has ask this question before. I drive my cart almost exclusively in the woods of Pa. Here in Pa. we have logs 'n rocks and at times they become "hidden" under the heavy leaves of the fall.
So, the other day while I was doing some routine cart stuff and under my cart, I was just "looking" and "thinking" (a dangerous thing to do) and the bottom of my batteries are "exposed" to whatever. Now, I have a skid plate on my rear end, and in the 5+ years I've had my cart, I've never had a problem with something puncturing thru the bottom of my batteries. So...am I dreaming of "what could" be....or should I actually take a step here to avoid a potential future problem?? |

Re: Battery Skid Plate???
I have heard of people taking the batteries out and putting a piece of 1/4" plywood under them inside the tray to protect them some but I've honestly never heard of anyone's batteries being damaged although it is possible.
