Steering
Good day everyone. I just put a 4" lift kit on my ST Sport II that I got from EZGo, I've used up all the ajustment and it still only turns a little bit to the right. I can't drive it like this, please help. Turning left is no problem, but not to the right.

Re: Steering
Sounds like you are set up for NASCAR.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm mainly an electrical guy so I'm not much help with mechanical stuff, but someone should be along soon. |

Re: Steering
Sounds like the pinion is not centered on the rack. There could also be too much toe on one side throwing the Ackerman angle off.

Re: Steering
How much play in the other bar - and how much is it pulling?
Just curious, why cool with left, but not right? (feel I'm being set up for a punchline here) Scratch those comments, I thought you were referring to alignment.. Try to take off steering wheel, center and replace. |
