Default New Cart shop opens

.. I found out thru some friends that a shop opened up close to home, 'bout 14 miles, and now that I'm just about to get the guts for my toy, I find myself torn between getting my controller, cables and charger from Scottyb or the local guy... and as I write this, I'll feel better getting the above mentioned stuff from those that have helped me... I'll be calling Scotty next payday... My dad always said 'if it doesn't feel right in your gut, it probably isn't!' Ahhh, I feel better

It is nice to hear a cart shop is opening! All we have heard about are closings for the last 4 years....
When it comes to electronics, you will get better pricing from online high volume dealers than you will from brick & mortar stores.
But you need to support your local cart shop on other larger items where freight becomes a factor. Run down there and buy a windshield, rear seat, tires, batteries, something to help the guy out

At work now, and so far, many people have said 'support your local shops!', the ownr of the new shop has been in business for 3 years and is just opening his shop getting it out of his house/garage... I like the idea of him posibly doing the install for me, at a price, and if I buy from him, a warrenty comes with...I'm planning to stop by his shop/store and find out the charger and stuff, brand and pricing, I would like to know if it's a good brand charger, will post it in a few days. Might even trade in the QE charger and get a couple bucks out of it...
