Scotty, It's a PDS cart.
We need to make some voltage measurements while the cart is misbehaving. You'll need some alligator clip test leads or some means of attaching the test leads and reading the meter while the cart is moving. Measure between A1 and A2 studs on motor. Should be full battery pack voltage, or close to it when pedal is on floor. If not, measure between main negative terminal on battery pack and J4 Pin-3 (white wire). Should be 2.9V +/- 0.4V with pedal on floor. Also, measure between F1 and F2 studs on motor. Should be 2.7V +/- 0.5V when pedal is on floor. If the voltages at both set of studs are good, the motor is sick. If the voltages at the motor studs are low and the voltage at J4 Pin-3 is good, the controller is sick. If the voltage at J4 Pin-3 is low, the ITS (Inductive Throttle System) needs some troubleshooting. |
