Charger will not kick on after installing new batteries
Hi, my ancient batteries in my 2003 gave up and after pushing it to the charger the charger failed to go on. I therefore installed new batteries and everything worked fine except that the charger still would not go on.
I then attached the cart to another operating charger and it also failed to go on. Can anyone tell me what to check next and how? Thanks |

Re: Charger will not kick on after installing new batteries
Check to see if you have the charge wires connected to the battery pack.
Check for 36v at the charge receptacle. |

Check what Scott said and make sure your 120V outlet has power!

Re: Charger will not kick on after installing new batteries
Thanks guys, my voltage at the batteries is 38 and the voltage at the receptacle is zero.
The wiring from the receptacle to the batteries appears to be intact. Can I assume that this is the problem and if so is it fixable? |

Yes, you have no continuity between the charge receptacle and the battery pack.... Is there an extra wire around the pack mains after the install? Look hard and close
