Default 24v? CC only using outside batteries?

I finally got my resistor CC going. It was the darn key wiring. Just got back from a short ride and long push home. The 2 center batts were at 12.5 combined and the outsides were very low. I followed the stickys and a lot of bgw help. Now I'm in need of advice or at least a starting point

When was the last time you charged and watered the batteries? Also, how old are the batteries?

I just repaired a fire damaged cart and replaced the two center batts and the outsides are '11. I filled and charged the older batteries individually before I drove it

Would a battery issue cause the cart to only draw off of the outside batteries? Or should I be more worried about a possible wiring problem ?

. . . charge them, rest them, load test them and check the SG of each cell in each battery . . . only way to determine if they are the problem . . .

It's got to be a wiring problem. If the batteries are wired in series as they should be then they have to ALL be receiving the same & equal draw. Having said that, if some batteries are much weaker than others then they may show a greater depletion from the same load as a healthier battery.

My battery to battery (series) is correct I wasn't sure if I'm missing something simple. Should I be running a wire from batt 3+ to the f&r even though I have a buss bar? Also what does SG stand for so I can search?

Run the bass bar or 2 positive leads, not both.
If using the bottom buss bar remove the cable going to the middle of the pack.

Since I've been charging the older batteries (I'm charging 2 at a time w/12v charger) they've been on 11.9 and 12.0 for the pairs.
