Default Melex 212 lithium upgrade

Hello all. I am enjoying my recent purchase of Melex 212 golf cart. I have been considering upgrading to lithium batteries. But I know very little about it. I am open to all suggestions. I was reading one forum about lithium diy. Is this a cheaper route.
I am also looking for parts for my 212. New front windshield. This original is blue tinted and wraps around. I quite like it. It is just very scratched up. I am also looking for info on the wiring for the lights. The signal lights and brake lights specifically. As well as the horn.
I appreciate all do you on this forum. It has been a fantastic place to come and learn. Share and enjoy. Thank you all.

DIY lithium is a cheaper route. You’ll be able to build a quality battery with quality cells and a quality BMS that you will learn to diagnse any potential problems in the future.

To clean light scratches off of the windshield try toothpaste with a little water added and a use a soft cloth. Or use Novus 7136 plastic polish kit.
