I reconnected the charger, but still nothing. Solenoid doesnt click when I turn on the battery & turn the key.

For reference:
ibb (DOT) co/GB9cS8v
After removing Samsung battery & BMS:
Red = 12v line, blue = samsung harness (data I believe), yellow = samsung charger, green = main power

ibb (DOT) co/Fb0cKtzX
After installing new battery
Green is the factory charging receptacle & signal cable plugged into samsung harness. Red is main power. On/Off switch pushed into ON position. Cart is in RUN mode.

ibb (DOT) co/NdgbGjTZ
Factory charging receptacle w/ signal line plugged into factory Samsung harness

ibb (DOT) co/GfrK5vQc
What is still unplugged from the factory Samsung harness

ibb (DOT) co/b52y42Sx
New battery shows DSG OFF, and toggles back to OFF when I attempt to switch it to ON.

Look like you have all the necessary items reconnected.
That 4 pin white molex connector is the diagnostics port for the controller.
The grey deustch connector is for the BMS.

Use a multimeter and check for ~14V output on that molex connector. That will confirm the motor controller has power and you can get diagnostics from it. I would then look at the getting your hands on a diagnostics tool to read all the input signals the controller is expecting to run.

Missed this, 'discharge off' so the battery wont actually supply power to the cart.

You may have everything ready to go, you just need to get the battery to turn on. Looks like a touch screen button.

Thanks for confirming my setup is good! Appreciate you and all your help so far. It does seem like the battery may be the issue.

Every time I try and toggle that DSG switch on the screen, it goes into the on position for a second and then flips back to OFF.

I assumed this was because my wiring of the cart was bad and so I must have tripped some internal protection circuit.

Disconnect one of the battery leads, will the battery turn on? Do you know the SOC, maybe it needs a charge first.

All the cells are full charge. It's definitely ready to go, as long as it will discharge. I'll try removing all of the leads and seeing if that gives me anything .... And try to charge, maybe that will reset any protections that were tripped.

I also reached out to the battery provider for insight.

From what you're saying, my wiring is correct. Therefore if the battery continues to give me issues then I'll return it and instead get an eco. Good Support is pretty invaluable with niche things.

Thanks again for all of your help

Did you get a new charger with the battery? The lithium chargers are typically just a constant voltage supply, so you could try connecting it as the power source for the cart. Should be able to turn the controller on and make the wheels turn if on jackstands.
