Default Alltrax XCT install pics.

Please post your XCT install pics here. There are many people requesting visual help. And I know there are a few different models and ways to install the XCT.
I'll start with mine which is a bit unconventional. I tossed out the heat sink and mounted my lightweight controller to the plastic splash panel. I like the easy programming access. Install in a 2014 IQ

If you have controller and solenoid install questions ask here.

If you have already installed your Alltrax and it's not working etc please start another thread so we do not get loaded up with troubleshooting here for the sake of creating a decent install reference.

Thank you

If I ever get ambitious that's the way I want to mount mine. Looking at your pictures I have one question. Could the heat sink be turned around and mounted in that recessed area? With slight modifications of course. At least then you would have something metal to mount to.

I also mounted mine to the plastic

In this pic you can see where I redrilled the top bolt hole to fit the stock aluminum cover back on. I also had to trim the bottom of it so it would push further into the battery box.

I mounted mine inside the battery box, lithium of course helps that. Still in the process of getting it running, but i think i am close.

My Cart: 2006 Precedent - XCT500 & Lithium. This is still a tight fit with a double lithium pack, just as with LA batteries. Scotty, notice the decal.

Yes. 0 gauge and it will match my blue carbon fiber wrap when I install it.
