I do like this meter - but a quick search that led me to this thread started from looking at this unit [LINK]. It's certainly cheaper but seems to provide the same information and with a shunt method.
Any thoughts? I have a pretty cheap one right now, just voltage and batter meter for estimating capacity. It only derives it from actual voltage and you must program it for FLA or Lithium etc. I'm going to try that and see how it performs for the LiFePO4 pack I am ordering. But betting I'll pretty quickly come around to one of these enhanced meters to get actual capacity remaining leveraging real data from the shunt. |
