Same here. Would not come off. On about the 20th drop, the rim I was using to protect the lug threads bent and the housing fell over and busted. No more rear end. Off to the junk pile. Replaced the rear end completely yesterday. Now I need a new Club Car rear end for another cart I have!

Wow. That’s not good. I’ve never gone that far. There’s some times when it just doesn’t work though.
