Re: 97 Electric club car not moving
I'm having the same problem with my '95 48 volt DS. I used it this morning and it backed up, then when shifting to forward it didn't move. I pushed the pedal a little more and it lunged then worked fine. Later this morning my wife tried to use it and it backed out, then went dead. The battery meter is in the white zone so it's got power.

Check cable connections on all batteries, and at the solenoid, controller, and motor. Make sure you don't have any broken or loose. RGreen, Same question. It's possible your cart has a different drive system than what Starfan has and will need different info to diagnose. |

Re: 97 Electric club car not moving
Most likely a poor connection somewhere. Check connections at the solenoid, controller, motor, and FnR switch for any corrosion or burned cable ends. Check the FnR switch for an evidence of melting from getting too hot.
You can check that the motor is getting pack voltage when the solenoid clicks. With the FnR in either F or R and press the throttle so solenoid clicks, you should have pack voltage on both A and S terminals at the motor, and should have pack voltage all the way to the M- terminal at the controller. Black meter lead should be on pack negative for this, or you can use the controller B- if that's easier to get to. If you do not have voltage at one of those points tell us which point and we can work from there to figure out where power is not getting through. |

Re: 97 Electric club car not moving
Check voltage at m- on controller and a couple of other area. Before I pressed the pedal, I got full voltage and when pedal is pressed got no voltage
