1998 club car,reset obc
Got a 1998 club car,48 volt, cart had no solenoid click,,been trying to troubleshoot, then when I charged batteries, cart now works as it should, batteries were not dead,
Is it possible to reset obc or something else by just charging cart? |

Re: 1998 club car,reset obc
I think yes. I can’t remember details but if the OBC detects the cart has been driven X times and not plugged in, or has not been plugged in for X number of days the OBC puts the cart in a sleep mode that is basically a charge lockout. Once the charger is plugged in it wakes the OBC up and it then allows operation of the cart again.
I could be wrong on that, but seems I read something like that in one of the manuals somewhere, sometime, long ago. |
