Default Maybe a dumb question:

But I need to ask. I rebuilt an 96 ezgo medalist for my brother in-law. He’s had it 3 months. He went to use it and it will not go, just hears clicks when the pedal is depressed. It has fully charged and 3 month old batteries. I’m “assuming” it may be the solenoid. Is the solenoid the same as the ones I replaced on my 86 club car? Or it’s a different type? Both carts are 36v. Thank you.

A lot of solenoids interchange, but you need to ensure the voltage size is correct for the application. If it is and it fits, it will work on any manufacturers system.

They may look different but either will work. 2 large and 2 small posts. Does not matter.
