2010 Precedent Loses Power While Driving
I have a 2010 Precedent and it will be completely charged then completely lose power while driving. The battery light will come on if I press the petal. Turn the key off and on it does the same thing. Let it sit for a couple of mins and it turns on and runs again. It usually only does this after a complete charge. I’ve done the speed sensor tests and have already put a high speed magnet on it. Any suggestions or ideas??

Sounds like a battery problem... How old are they...What does the voltage drop to under load...Put a meter on each battery and floor it...What are your readings....

Batteries are brand new. Put them in 5/20. I don’t know what they read when there is a load but I will check when I get home. How far should they drop under load?

Shouldn't drop below 7v for an 8v battery or 11v for a 12v battery...Check the cables and connections...

So I checked them all and they barely dropped. It only seems to do it on a full charge. It will run for about 30 yards and shut down. Then if I let it sit for a a few mins it seems like it resets itself.

Could be the microswitch in the mcor acting up...Disconnect the 2 pin connector from the mcor and jump it with a wire or paper clip...

Re: 2010 Precedent Loses Power While Driving
I jumped the switch and it worked fine. I replaced the MCOR the other day and haven’t had a problem yet. Thanks for the help and advice.
