1996 48v Golf Cart Full Charge Voltage
Hello all. I have a quick question. I have a 1996 48v Club Car. I have all new A1 Admiral Motor, Alltrax 500 controller, 400amp solenoid, HD F&R, lift kit, all new 8v batteries.
What should my battery pack full voltage read? At peak charge the voltage reads 61v. But after voltage settles when off charger it settles to about 52.6. Is this normal? Should full charge be higher? Should float charge be higher? Also, I have 48v leaking to my frame. If I put my voltmeter from main + or main - from pack to anywhere in frame, I get 44v. I’ve been troubleshooting it to no avail. Batteries are clean. No obvious wires or grounding to frame. Could this be why the voltage is lower than it should be? |
