Club car 2013 i2 precedent

Just purchased a 2013 club car president i2 excel, this cart has been stretched, six passenger now. When I bought it it was not running 48 V system. Customer told me that the cart sputtered a few times here and there over a period of time, kind of like a gas engine does with a misfire. Then the cart finally quit running. This cart had been upgraded with controller Navitas TSX 2.0 (SW REV. 8.3) 440A 36V-48V 10-000670 and OTF control. After performing some test I found that the controller was bad, controller green light would never come on and the OTF control green light did not power up. I purchased a new Navitas DC motor controller 440A-600A TSR 3.0 10-000781. Before I replace the old with the new will this controller work with the OTH control and will I need to replace the harness that came with the new controller or use the same one on the cart now? From what I read in the manual the harness supplied with the new controller is for a Different cart otheR than the precedent. Help with this would be greatly appreciated.
