2018 Trojan batteries have melted posts
Never saw this before. Been foolin with carts 10 years...still don,t know it all. Need help from the real techs on here please. Only the NEGATIVE posts melted ! I have to know what caused this before I install new batteries NOTE: I personally made sure all cables were tight before selling the cart. Cables are correct size. These are 4 12 volt batteries mfg 8/18 This is a mystery to me...I am at a loss...please help[ and thank you.

One reason is a bad connection caused by over tightening the cables. This breaks the stud loose in the lead base causing a bad connection. Never tighten more than 105 in/lbs.
