'97 ezgo txt only moves forward
Hoping someone can help with this. My 1997 ezgo txt travels forward when the F/R switch is in forward and reverse. Thoughts??

Your 97 TXT is DCS drive system and you need a controller.
The directional switching is done by the controller in this system and you describe a typical failure. However I have know people who drove in a single direction for quite some time before replacing (upgrading) the controller. |

And when it finally dies, this will be the one and only time you won't need to switch the "run/tow" switch to "tow".
