No reverse. Forward ok
I have a 1995 Medalist, series 36V. Forward works fine. In reverse, the buzzer sounds and the solenoid clicks when the pedal is pressed.
In FWD, M- to B+ reads 0 to 37V as the pedal is pressed. In REV, M- to B+ reads 37V and doesn’t change with pedal movement. Should I be reading somewhere else when in reverse? I have 37V, at controller pin 3 (orange) when in reverse. How can I tell if the problem is the controller or the F&R switch? I’ve searched the forums and haven’t found this exact problem. I’m sure it’s there. I just haven’t found it. Thanks |

Check your rotary switch for damage. Controller and solenoid don’t know direction on a series cart so that part is working.
