Default Huba Huba

Hello Guy's and Gal's

I bought a SGC 6 inch lift kit for my 1984 DS Club Car and the hub will not fit the spindle leaving enough space to tighten the castle nut far enough down to put the cotter pin in. The kit that I bought is for a 1984. Help!

Does the castle nut actually thread on properly?
There were two different spindles used on Club Car and the later ones are shorter, but the threads are also smaller diameter.
If the castle nut will thread on, make sure there is no paint or rough marks on the spindle. Make sure the bearings will slide on all the way onto the spindle.
