Default 3 Lug Hubs - How to change to 4 Lug?

My Turf Rider has 3 lug hubs and wheels - front and rear. What's the best way to convert to standard 4 lug?

Is it advisable to purchase new hubs (like from a different car or from a trailer parts store) and then retrofit them, or is there a better method? The hub backing plates do not offer sufficient room to re-drill them.

I've attached a photo from Hardware's cart. My front hubs look the same.

I'm curious what others might have done?

Sorry Rep, it's been so long ago. As I recall, the spindle shaft is 1" (like Club Car and Ezgo), the problem was the machined area for the seal would not match up. Didn't have to worry about the rears, we used a G2-E transaxle. You'll get this figured out

Hello Rep,

Elroy had five lug in the rear and three lug in the front. I changed out my rear end for a club car one with reverse. For the three lug in the front I bought adapters (AZ2283) from www.mfgsuppy.com. I had to use a hole saw to drill out the center to go over the three lug hub, then I drove out the three studs and welded the adapter onto the old hub. I tried hard to get them exactly centered over the hub and did get exact on one side and the other side has just a very tiny amount of wobble. It really turned out great.

Hope that helps,

--Jim

I posted on your other thread but i found this on the web. the site is named on the pdf. Its a template. I would drill out the center to the size of the front of the hub, slip over mark existing lugs, remove lugs, put template on backside, put lugs or bolts to cinch together.
Lot of work, easier to buy new if you can. I hope this made sense.

Thank you. I'm going to set aside some time this weekend to peruse this template to verify whether it might work for me.

Truly appreciated.
