Cool 1 beep and nothing

I have a 2006 CC precedent and one of the 8 volt batteries died . So I got a new Trojan and installed it. Now the battery charger wont kick in and when I turn the ignition key nothing happens .
With the direction switch in reverse and I turn the tow run switch to run I get a momentary beep from the back up buzzer then absolutely nothing.
Every time I toggle the tow run with it beeps once then nothing
the charger was working and the cart did move before I replaced the battery. Although it did make an odd buzzing noise with the charger plugged in and tow switch off, once before I turned everything off to remove the battery
The battery pack voltage right now is 49.3v
Any suggestions before I start to take things apart

You probably have a poor connection on one of the battery cables. Double check all of them. Make sure they’re all shiny clean metal. Any varnish/dark discoloration is a sign of a bad connection and needs to be cleaned.

Did you install the new battery backwards? Or leave the small red wires off that connect to the main + battery connection.

I cleaned all cable connections and tightened the terminals and all the wires are reconnected. Any other good ideas?

Hopefully you were in Tow before you removed the cables. Did you have any issues occur? Any tools ground out or sparks fly?

What is odd is this reflects 2 different problems: One being the OBC/Charging and the other being the controller/power/drive circuitry.

Verify with a meter you have pack voltage at the charge receptacle pins. If you do, we can bypass the OBC and see if the charger starts. Then go from there.

Inspect all the cable ends looking and feeling for any signs of corrosion.
It can be hard to spot up in a crimp.
If one has high resistance under load you will limit the current and go nowhere.

Thanks for all the input . I went on FSIP website and they had a complete trouble tree test to check for no power. After going through the pin tests on the controller int sent me to power test on OBC . Suggested do a hard discharge on the OBC (4th) time if that doesn't work order a new computer. I suspect that the shorted battery caused the problem when he plugged in his charger, most likely a voltage surge to the computer

But the OBC would not cause the cart to not run unless it was in lockout. You can test/conform that by unplugging the 6-pin connector at the OBC and on the harness side connector, put a paperclip or jumper between the Blue and White wires. This will supply the voltage to the controller to simulate normal operation.

Thanks NoleFan4Ever I did the bypass this morning and the old buggie came to life .
Now I just have to get the dealer to source the correct version.
His parts catalogue lists 10 different versions.
However I did screw up it is a 2010 not a 2006
Thanks to everyone who took the time to think about my issue and respond
