Default New cart. Help upgrading electronics!

Hey there. I'm new to the site and new to carts and looking for guidance. I'm a full time atv dealership mechanic, so I know my way around a wrench and multimeter.

I picked up what I believe to be a 1979 ezgo marathon for free from a buddy. It is rough around the edges, but ran a year or two ago before removing batteries and sitting.

The cart will be used around my campground. I would like to upgrade all of the electronics for durability and reliability, but on a budget. I've read the resistor coil is bad for lifted carts and in general, and most of the electrical components on it are old and rusty. I'm looking for help finding a kit, or a place to upgrade all of the electronics for my needs, without breaking the bank. It doesn't need to be top of the line or real fancy. Cart will have a 4" lift & tires to fit.

Up on the blue line click on site sponsors. Carts unlimited is ScottyB. He is a very active member that has all of the kits.

I guess I'll have to email him. All the switch mumbo jumbo on the website is fairly confusing to a cart newb.
