Ezgo Brake Problem
This past weekend I had to get on the brakes real hard and I stopped but the pedel went to the floor, now no brakes. Any ideas?

There is a cable (think driver side) that breaks on these first. 90% of our brake problems is that cable breaking. Usually at the front, where they all come together. We haven't had any internal components break. yet. This is the newer models 1994 - now

drivers side brake cable end is gone. is there a way to repair or do I just buy a new cable?

The plate with the year and all is in the passenger side glove box. Two numbers represent the year of manufacture. Then we'll know if its a TXT or medalist or?
The vehicle ID info is in the EZ GO gas tech section on the home page. The brake cables were the same part numbers for many years. BTW, BU is a competitor to this forum. Our sponsors keep this here. Support our sponsors |
