no spark

I have a ec25-2pg was running real good after new carb., then I was getting hit and miss spark problem now no spark at all, everything looks good have power from solinoid to coil, pickup on flywheel is clean, any ideals??. Thank You

Sticky: Installing HEI Ignition
this fixed my problems w/ my cart, if you shop e-bay you can get items for about $32.00 w/shipping

hope this helps. it will make your spark system bulletproof.

I looked up hei on e-bay and found nothing for this. Does the hei replace the points and condencer? becouse this motor dosent have points and condencr. thank you

on e-bay you have to find the ignition coil and matching ignitor from a 1977 Chevy Nova 4.1L I6 part#s are in the sticky then you'll have to wire them in like the diagram shows. that will give you a bulletproof spark system

I'll look to see if I can find some e-bay#'s for you

does the diagram come with the module? I am going to look in my garage tomorrow I might have a module from my old chevy, but I think it's a 5 pin Thinks so much for this great info. I;m like you what I learn I pass on to other people.

to get the diagram all you have to do is go to the sticky "hei" and click on the pic of the diagram and them print it..

If its an old chevy it will be 4 pin and you can use it an any non resistor coil. Hei needs 12v.
