Here is the "issue" I was referring to with the washer size. Also, there is a spacer under the washer that appears to be factory. Am I correct in assuming that this will be WAY too loose for operation?

Thats' a flat-washer,not a U-Bolt washer. The U-Bolt Washers are thicker, and smaller in diameter and the inside-diameter is more accurate as well.It will work, put the spring on,then the washer, that way it will seat against the cover.

Can the clutch cover be removed without removing drive clutch on 2010 EZGO RXV? I’m needing to replace the drive spring. Thank you.

Hey guys, new to the forums (just acquired a mid 80’s ezgo gas marathon). trying to take the center clutch cover bolt out, are those LH or RH threads? any tips to get this sucker out would be greatly appreciated. Just wanting to inspect this drive clutch for possible rebuild or replacement. (I’ll try and get a picture added shortly)

Sorry to thread jack but didn’t want to start a new one. .. hoping someone has a quick answer.

Thankful for any advice,
Paul

It's a normal right hand thread, but there is no room to remove the clutch with the engine still installed.

Great! Thanks for the reply. Just looking to inspect right now (I removed the right rear engine mount bolt and will jack up the engine carefully to remove the cover) it’s functioning but just want to know the over all condition as the cart is new to me.

Thanks again,
Paul
