Default Oil in air box ??

Hello peep's,
today i tried starting my G2 with no luck :(. so i started trouble shooting, Found that it would start with air box tube removed. but smoking bad. So i check alittle deeper & found the air box was filled with oil... this means i'm getting blow by ??..

It usually means you had to much oil in the motor. Drain and one quart only!! That is your new full mark on the dip stick!!

Now you probably need to buy a new air filter!!

A great cause of overfilled crankcase is a bad needle valve in carb causing unburned fuel to contaminate/dilute the oil.

Yep, overfill of oil will puke out the airbox. Blowby of worn motor will make a little come out not much. You can also clean that valve in the hose on the passenger side of the cylinder, its like a pvc valve, and its one way so put back in the same way. If oil reeks of gas you have a bad float/valve leaking into the engine.... just like those guys say.

I have also seen carts used for only short trips do this, the engine never spends much time at normal operating temp.

I saw on Youtube that if the governor is backed off too much it causes the same problem.
