g 16 noise coasting downhill
Hi everyone have a 05 G16 that makes a whining rattle noise when coasting downhill seems like the driven clutch but not sure . I replaced the drive belt because it was really worn hoping the noise would go away but the noise didn't go away any ideas would be helpful thanks.

Re: g 16 noise coasting downhill
Check the gear lube. Pull the rubber plug (the car must be level), gear lube should be just coming out. Check for any bearing play on the input shaft (grab the secondary clutch and move it up and down and side to side).
