s1 post bolt broke
i was putting a new wire on and broke the electric motor bolt off. I'm sure i messed up the contact but can't get the suit off. any ideas? Its a 1989 ego marathon resistor motor.

Suit? if you broke it off and cant get the second nut off you need to disassemble the motor to get to the back side of that bolt......its not a big deal. however, buying the replacement and trying to replace it will be a PIA. I rigged mine for a while and then sent that motor for a bandit upgrade and they repaired it for a nominal fee.
if you have a motor shop around take it to them. it would be a good idea to take motor apart anyway to check your brushes and clean it. this is in gas section and i read it as an electric cart........my bad! if its the starter/generator maybe get a new one or a e-motor shop Last edited by Epb; 01-06-2016 at 01:42 PM..
