G29 (ytf-1) seems way too slow
I am new to all golf carts. This 2009 YTF-1 is my first cart. I took it for a ride for the first time yesterday and it seems slower than I would expect, it maybe does 8 or 9 mph. It seems to run perfectly, no stuttering or funny noises. The governor is maxed out, the clutches appear to be in good condition and working fine. The only thing that I could see that may be an issue is that there is slack in the cable from the governor to the carb. That cable is loose (limp) when the cart is not running. Is this normal? Thanks!

Re: G29 (ytf-1) seems way too slow
Some slack is normal. Check this- key off, press pedal to floor, look under airbox from drivers side, see if throttle is opening all the way. Release & press pedal a few times while watching & you will see throttle arm move.
