95 gas TXT won't start

95 gas no start. Put new brushes in earlier this summer. Riding the other night and cart quit. Will not turn over only hear a click at the solenoid. Checked voltage going to the starter/generator and it has voltage going to the starter/generator but will not turn over. The voltage was around 10. Any ideas in what the problem could be?

ceheck the brushes. i have had them stick in their holders and not make contact with the armature.

you can also tap the starter/gen with a small hammer to see if it will turn over.

You can never start a golf cart with voltage of less than 12.2 volts. Replace your battery. That is my best suggestion.

Could a bad solenoid drop voltage that much? Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will look at it this weekend to see what I find out. Will post what I find.

Finally got a chance to troubleshoot. Had a stuck brush. Also thinkin solenoid is going out. After getting the brush problem fixed ran it around the neighborhood and stopped once and no start. Did not hear the click from the solenoid. Little tap on it and it started again.
