Re: White Wire
After thinking about this I assume a 12 volt buzzer would work here. I think I'd be more interested in that than a light. I think novice users (kids/guests) would at least hear a buzzer but might overlook a light.

Re: White Wire
I have a solution for the buzzer idea. Use the existing back up beeper that we all disconnect.
You could use a automotive relay, run power from key switched on position to relay to feed the back up buzzer, the relay would be triggered by the grounding of the oil pressure switch. This way the buzzer would be on when cart is switched on but would quiet when the oil pressure comes up. It would surely keep the kids from running with out oil pressure |

Re: White Wire
The pressure switch is where the ground takes place, positive battery power goes the the light then from the light to the white wire. Take power from the ignition switch. Hook a test light to the pos battery post then to the white wire, with the engine off the light will be on, start the motor, when the oil pressure comes up the test light will go out.

Re: White Wire
I would think one of those wires on the reverse buzzer micro switch is battery pos. Use a test light or multimeter to find out. The switch is in the shifter.

Re: White Wire
Pick up an automotive relay like TWD MEI1252 from napa, its a 5 prong 12volt relay. The terminals will be marked 87 86 85 30. So now you need to find a good place to mount it, it has a nice tab that you can put a self tapping screw through. The wiring goes as follows the 30 terminal gets power from the battery, 86 gets power from a key on source like the starter relay for the starter/generator(use a test light with rear of cart lifted push pedal to see where there is power only when pedal is pushed on the starter relay) , 85 is the ground side but this will run to the white wire, 87 runs to the buzzer. The way this should work is when the starter is engaged the buzzer will come on until the sensor sees oil pressure. By using the starter relay to trigger one side of the relay the buzzer circuit will only get power when the engine is turning, when you stop with foot off pedal it shouldn't buzz. I will try to get to my cart today to see where the starter relay power could be.

Re: White Wire
I believe the buzzer is self grounded, so you only apply power to make it buzz. The white wire is a switch that grounds out when there is no oil pressure. The only way to do this is with a relay. The one at napa is $6.
