1990 Marathon Timing
Thanks to everyone who replied about service manual. I have torn down motor for complete rebuild with no problems and have parts on the way but the service manual I have doesn't really describe how to set the pulser. I don't want to put it all back together and not have it right. Does anybody have any info on timing, it is a Robin EC25 3PG

You should have descibed in manual the marked settings to set the pulser at. My 91 manaul has the marks in a pic also, did you take any pics before removal of the old? Taking pics of everything you do when taking down an engine from a lawn mower to a P51 mustang fighter is very helpfull. Seems our memory goes out the window as soon as we think NA I can remember that.

Look at the pulser plate you'll find a scribe line. Alien it with the center of the screw hole and lock it down. If you see no scribe line just center the plate with the screw holes and your good to go. As the manual says
