96 club car, been messing with this cart a while now, only way it will start is putting your hand over the carb on and off, for several mins, in the mean time,its spraying out gas and and throwing flames out the carb about three inches, will not start with air cleaner hose on once it starts it runs great, ive cleaned the carb several times, didnt help it put a new one on it, didnt help it,adjusted valves didnt help it, any ideas.thankx

I'd unbolt the muffler and try it. I'm thinking too much back pressure. Just a thought, and it doesn't cost anything.
