New Carb
I just purchased a new carb for my G1 that has a hose fitting on drivers left going upward with a hose going over the carb and into a hold down. My old carb didn't have it. What is is for and what should it be connected to? I connected the fuel line to the fitting for the float valve on drivers right just like my old carb. It seems to run ok but I don't know what it's for.

It's the overflow vent tube. Just let it hange there in the bracket.
