I feel your pain rayd. I had to cut mine off too when I installed my lift. I used an angle grinder with 5-1/4 thin cut off wheel and that was able to get between the a arm and the frame. I'm glad to hear you got it completed.

Even on the lift we could not get the 5 1/4 or even a 3 1/2 air grinder in there mainly on the bolt head side.

P.S. While I spent SO MUCH time under there noticed the tie rod ends not so great looking ordered some new ones.I hope this concludes my chassis chores.Might fool around with the CVK or not but the order of the day is RIDE,RIDE,RIDE!

If you lift the G16 it will be interesting to know if it is more difficult than the G8 was since the G14-G16 share the same a-arms.

Talk about irony,spent A LOT of time getting the lift kit in due to the a arm bolt removal and what happens? THEY HAVE PAVED the sand road up to the next island.I expect we will see more electrics driving up there now.
