it looks like 2nd week of September to get to the axle-
My buddy got a 2007 BBB Classic about a year ago. We've ended up replacing both front hubs, all shocks, at least one rear hub, and some other front end stuff. Good lord the front end is loud. Banging and creaking and squeaking.... It doesn't help that my buddy is 53 and dang near deaf after spending 15 years as an explosive tech blowing up road cuts, so he doesn't hear most of the squeaks. If I were to buy a golf cart for quiet hunting/ off roading transport purposes, I'd go 2 wheel drive without hesitation. Hell, I might pay more for 2WD than 4x4. Where we use it, the 4x4 is not needed, adds weight, complexity and noise.

If you lose the front motor and gearing, all other things being equal, yes, you should get longer run time. A guess, and guess only, would be adding 20% to 30% more run time.

I can't see how you would not have longer run time. You will no longer be "carrying" all of that front axel even when the front motor was not on, and with a front spindle, you just have two free-wheeling front wheels.

Now, your likely going to need.....if you don't already have....a limited slip differential for your existing rear drive. Unless your land you drive is relatively flat. Make sure your rear tires are quality healthy mudder type. Those go a long way in going thru muddy stuff.

What factory carts come with a limited slip differential?
