G1 engine stopped running after 30 min ride
Hi, so my project cart was running for say 20 to 30 min them it sputtered out and just quit. Checked the plug and it was wet. By the time I got back to house, it cooled a bit and turned over and was able to get it to fire up again. What would cause it to quit when running pretty good other than the engine was nice and hot? I cleaned the stator when it was out recently. Would either the stator or coil have issues when hot?

Replaced the ignition coil and have not had that issue since.

Glad you fixed it. I just saw this so late to the party. Another thing on the G1 is the fuel pump that's mounted to the differential/trans. Those have been known to get gummed up.
