Default yamaha hesitation

Hey guys sorry for making another thread but my cart started hesitation like it kicks over 2-3x and stops then starts then stops ect... like the battery is low but im getting 12v from the battery ???

Any idea what it might be i think my cart is a G2 or G8

are you measuring while cranking , I think you will be suprised at the reading. its most likely that you battery is low on charge or downright shot. also check you cables and clean them on both the battery and starter

Ill go check that, i measured the battery with out cranking it over and read 12v

a good battery will read closer to 13.5 volts fully charged. somewhere here their is a chart for voltage vs battery

Checked the voltage and it read 12v and without it pushed it read 12.4v

Check wires, cables, batt clamps. Try to start and feel for warm connections in the gen cables. Check wires to start solenoid.

Thanks guys for the tips, i placed my optima battery on the charger i hope it works on my cart :)

six gauge will work 4 is preffered , personally on v twins i use 10 for consistency for the engine.
