If you have a farm type store they have cables ready made in different sizes, as well as auto stores. I plan to put new ones on mine this winter when I can take them off and measure. The clamps are shot, one day I had to file them out to get a connection even a battery post cleaner would not fix them. I have new brushes for my gen too.

I found a slice in my ground wire not big but should not be there, i have a RoyalKing near me i wonder if they carry cables

I replaced the 2 battery cables with some thick 4awg wire and still has the hesitation :( next is to get a new battery but what i dont get is that the battery cranked it over perfect when i switched the generator? ?? And even a few times with it
