Just a note here despite some dire predictions on the governor. Mine is zip tied and even still using the throttle cable off the transaxle it has not interacted with the throttle at 5200 rpms and 40 plus mph.So if you decide not to open the transaxle the governor not an issue.

Thanks again guys. I have the transaxle open since it was leaking at the case halves. Plus I just wanted to see how it works.

You will see why its difficult to make a posi for it, iirc it has planetary diff in there.
Its a good cart, a transitional time for yami carts but hey you got the new body style and not sure the new motor/trans is better anyway. 357 does have more power stock and is nice with a plowmans kit, but a clone is 420 and I'm pretty sure it will walk any 357 with any but the most radical mods like a custom cam and more which cost more than the whole clone engine. |
