Re: 95 club car controller bad
There is a "compatible" controller sold for Regen-1 (uses a short adaptor cable). The GE Black "T" shaped controller has been out of production for many years. For a number of years there was a shop that would rebuild them, but I'm not sure that is still possible. The compatible controller looks like this. I've never installed one.

Re: 95 club car controller bad
Those compatible controllers are very expensive. Its not trivial, but before buying a replacement; you should seriously consider doing an IQ conversion to your cart. That would involve replacing your wiring harness, adding a run/tow switch and a priced-right IQ controller (if its not giving you trouble, I think your continuously variable potentiometer is IQ compatible and would help keep the costs down a bit - but may need a plug adaptor??). The person who can provide the most help with a Regen-1 to IQ conversion (and the necessary OEM Club Car bits & pieces to convert your cart) is David - a site sponsor whose business link is HERE.
If your selling the cart - and want to get-off-cheap and chance a rebuild of the existing controller (if your controller is fried - it might not be rebuild-able), I looked thru some old email and found this link where I had sent mine to be rebuilt many years ago. A bit of a crap shoot with a 20 year old controller, though. |

IQ conversion is the way to go. No doubt about it.

Re: 95 club car controller bad
I've been waiting on you to contact me since this post started. I'd love to help with your project. As for selling it, that's going to be kind of pricy for a 21 year old cart that doesn't run and needs batteries, but I wish you luck.
