New developement. drove it up to garage about 300 feet. would not start back up. let it set 10 minutes and starts. my thinking kinda leans to clutch side oil seal as the guy that replaced them told me it did not look bad so he left it alone. Any thoughts??

okay new find. have discovered there is a flapper valve in the exhaust. I guess that was what that rope was holding when it was tied to the motor.I have discovered that the linkage that it works is missing. my question is what position should i lock it in for good performance??

I took mine all the way out (as do a lot of people) that way you don't have to worry about it

Did you get this problem fixed? Mine is having the same issues and I've replaced clutch side seal, reeds, and cut open the muffler to check out if it was clogged.
