The cathode end is marked with a ring, that end goes to the small terminal with blue wire.

Glad I could help. You had a 50-50 chance of getting it right, if you put it in wrong you will let the smoke out of it

On a non key start they are on seperate terminals. On the key start it shows a ground on the left (forward facing small terminal) and the other is blue from keyswitch, blue from voltage regulator ,orange from relay, and orange from kill limit switch. Wired this way blows the fuse every time. Is there another diagram for key start?

I have that diagram as well but it doesn't have the diode . The diagram I have with the diode shows the orange and blues on same terminal. Other terminal is a ground from voltage regulator. I haven't the foggiest how to post the picture of the keystart diagram. I could email or text it to you and it would explain what I'm saying. I have 4 other club cars that are not key start with the blue and orange going to seperate terminals.
