Default Tallest tires on 2005 CC DS Gas with HD rear leaves and 1" front block and/or extendr

I don't want it jacked 6" up in the air. But I definitely want larger tires/rims. I'm told the HD rear leaves will raise up the back end, so what height tire can I run back there without rubbing?

In the front I'm looking to do either the 1" lift block or the 2" wheelbase extender...or both? I think I'd like to do 22" in the back and 20" in the front...have that old school muscle car stance thing going on. Though I did kind of enjoy the staggered tire/rims on my SRT6.

Once we establish sizes, would spacers change anything? Do they rub because they're tall or because we turn?

Off to see if the people who sold me the wheel hub have gotten back to me...took all of 10 minutes but definitely has weird play that should be there.

Thanks in advance for your input!

No way you get 22's on the back without lifting it. Going to need at least 4" lift to get 22's on the back.

I don't think this picture does it any justice, but those are 22's sitting behind this cart with a 4 spring HD spring. It's just not possible.

Gotcha :) thanks for the input!

Still dealing with the **** leaf spring bolts. Ground the head off instead of the nut and the shaft is seized but good inside the thing.

Next is the u-bolt...having a hard time getting my cut-off wheel in there. Might have to use a sawzall?

Way more than a 3 beer job

Got the leaf springs done! Had to grind the driver's side off, NBD. The passenger side took literally 20 minutes.

HOWEVER:
My driver side brake line is between the tire and the spring...there's not enough slack for me to put it anywhere else. Anyone have any thoughts?

Im trying to do the same with my XRT,, I have the 2" extension plate and think im gonna use a piece of 2x6 or 3x6 rectangular tubeing for a spacer in the front, I want to keep tires under the cart not sticking out.

The little lift block looks easy enough to make out of 2x6 box tubing...or even just a 2x6 piece of wood (no i probably won't do that...). Would I just have to get longer bolts and drill out where they should go? What about the frame bolts?

Picture to come. I've labelled the three "plates" 1/2/3 and assume it goes between 1 and 2 (top and middle/leaf spring). So I'd just drill for the new bolts and make a notch for the frame bolts and the little allen bolt thing that adjusts the tires?

How does that affect the camber and the tie rods etc? It looks like it would want to pull the tires into a weird alignment.

All thoughts are welcome. I've got all day Saturday to mess with it while I'm smoking 4 pork shoulders :)

The extention is machined aluminum and only about $50.00, I have not tried another spacer yet

There's an extension and a riser block. I'm just thinking about the riser, though the extension doesn't look much different. The extender has some black blocks with half round things in them...unsure what they are/do.

(And if I save $40 doing it myself that's $40 I get to spend on other things :D and I do have expensive hobbies)
