Re: gtw led headlights
Josh cut them a little tight, at first. I have seen where people have gotten in a hurry and cut the hole larger than what it should have been, and now they have gaps between the light in the body.
I have the same lights, did you get the turn signals and brake lights to go with it? As far as the wiring goes, There is plenty of length to hide the wires nicely.... |

Re: gtw led headlights
The only weak link to that set that you ordered, is the flimsy brake light switch that they give you to mount to your brake pad. The front headlights should have an adjustment for up and down which is pretty cool, you can actually adjust it to your lift.
Do you have either the front or the rear body sitting off to the side? Take time to strap tie your excess electrical lines into a loop, run most of all of your wiring on the driver side of the frame, you will see access holes that you can run your wires through to keep it up tight with the frame. Your rear passenger light should be strapped down to the rear crossmember. Taking time to do this, makes it much much easier in the future, in case you have to take the body off for any reason they're not attached to the body, only plugged into the lights. I had to learn the hard way. Also running your wires type to the frame, creates a less chance of snagging something while out on trails cruising. Those front LED headlights work great in a neighborhood, but they really really suck if you're doing late-night trail riding. Then a light bar will still be in order if you do such a thing. |
